Default Who needs a chip? DYNO SHEET POSTED!

Ok, i just got off the phone with my builder and he just put the car on the dyno and i got some more than interesting numbers. This is on a somewhat broken in motor (maybe 10miles on it and lots of idling with plenty of lifter noise still). Also the gas is 93 oct that has been in my tank sinceearly Sept [:'(]

Mods:
Diode
turboXS hpbc
3" ebay dp
forge004
cargraphic 2.25" diam cat back (i know, i thought is was bigger when i bought it[:@])
stock airbox with paper filter (little more than 1k miles on filter)
stock ic (cleaned out of oil not to long ago)

Engine:
AEG 2L crank
Wiseco 9.25:1 83mm pistons
scat rods
stock head (105k miles on it and some carbon traces on the valves, needs some seafoam)
used ko3s turbo with about 60k miles on it (stock was a ko3 since i have a 2000)
stock manifolds (intake/exhaust).

Ok, time for some numbers,

1st run - just the n75 and 8psi(which is believed to have a problem since the boost only went to 8psi instead of 11psi, thinking it may have oil in the vac lines).

178WHP
188TQ

2nd run - Added back in a mbc (not mine since i removed it when i drove it last friday to limit boost) and turned the boost back up to 19psi.

196whp
291tq -think the pickup or the car slipped since its a little high.

3rd run - still with 19psi and probably the most accurate run minus some heatsoak from the stock ic (could cost 5-15whp/tq depending on level of heatsoak)

190whp
258tq

As for those wondering about A/F, the car was actually running rich (low 11's) and there is room for a couple more psi. Also since this is just on a diode, there is still more power when i can get a vagcom cable and ic to increase the timing 1-2*. This added in with a 3" catback and ic upgrade i should be looking at 215whp and 275wtq at a meager 20psi. Not to shabby considering its just a itsy bitsy ko3s

Should have the actual dynos available on wednesday since im stuck in my apt and will be back down to pick the car up on wednesday.

with a full 3" turbo back and some timing im sure i will be right on par with a chipped 225 with equal mods. I was just happy to hear that i still have plenty of fuel left for another 2-3 psi and timing increase. If i can get the time i may hit the track and see if i cant get into the 13's on stock heavy 6's and ASX's

You should be able to hit 13s, that isif you haven't forgotten how to drive, seeing as how you've been without your car forso long.

PS- look foward to seeing those intercoolers real soon

I have never had a problem driving. Havent tracked the TT yet, but with my old lancer i was a solid .3-5sec faster than other people with more mods than me. I just need to break in the engine more along with the clutch. I have about 500miles of city driving before i can dump the clutch. I really need to get to the track soon since i have no idea where there is a track in FL. So i basically have about 4wks to get her broken in and off to the track

there was talk that the offset wouldnt fit over the brakes. edgeracing has some new 5zigen wheels that are 17x8.5" wide and under 20lbs that i may just get. My brakes already cut off about 7lbs/rotor if not more so unsprung weight is fine. Plus i have a ecs 14lbs fw also.

Thanks and i can say it with, so do i

I just cant wait to take her home and see those graphs. The power curve should be much nicer/longer than a stock 1.8t with simular mods.

^ the pro racer GN's? at et+48 and 20.5 lbs... that's not bad.

personally, i've been a fan of bronze FN01R-C's. 17x8, at et+35 and 17 lbs.... mmm.

my friend's tc looks hawt w/ em on
