My buddy might still have carfax since he just bought a car recently.

I emailed the guy...for all you know he could be a dealer that got scammed on a trade in. Notice how he's offering financing...it's probably a dealer.

Either way I think he needs to know if that's not the actual mileage on the car before he screws himself over for inadvertent odometer fraud or screws someone else if he's aware...

You never know.
A lot of people don't use their TT as an every day driver. The owner may not take the car out in bad weather. Being the ad is from Washington state, that eliminates many days of sloppy roads.
You're right, all questions can be answered with Carfax.

Even so it needs a new timing belt if it has never gotten one.

I got the VIN. The guy said if I have to pay for it he'll run a Carfax for me lol. Sent another email to say "Clean! One owner!!"

Anyway if any of you have Carfax, PM me.

Funny there are no closer pictures. I'd like to see the wear on the car.

hmmm i was under the impression out mileage and stuff was controlled by the ecu so if you swapped clusters everything else would be the same?

i dont see why it is so difficult to believe it has that low miles. My neighbor had a corvette for like 7-8 years and sold it with 7,### miles... he kept it in storage and only drove it on really nice days. This guy could have very easily been the same way. . .
