WHY IS MY CAR IN LIMP MODE?
So last night after I need a couple of runs, my car kicked me out and started to put me in limp mode at 15 psi(this was with the MBC). This morning I put back the N75 hoping it will let me boost again with my apr chip and now its only boosting 5 psi. Does anybody know what it could be? I removed my cats yesterday and I and tried to gut them, but I ended up making a mess. Could it be that all the backpressure is building up in the cats and thats why its in limp mode? My 42 draft design downpipe should be here nxt week, so Im really not worried about the cats. I just want my car back boosting agian. Any suggestions? Thanks
I am getting this distinct impression that whoever ends up with your ride after you are done with it will end up hating Audi because of all the troubles they will have. I think you truely are making a mess of more than just the cats. Either you have lots of money and don't mind dropping a lot in future repairs or you should really get a different car soon.

wow man
You sounds like you would be better off with a GST. The terrible tuning your trying to do sounds like that of the ricer world.
TT is too complex to be screwing with like you are. if you don't have deep enough pockets to tune the TT right you really should look into ajapanese car that has a turbo with a more simple design.
The TT is expensive to tune but thats cheap compared to bad tuning and the repare bill.

Ok ill play the nice guy, you can only turn up your boost to 14.7psi and this is only possible with a diode, use the SEARCH and find out more. If you dont use a diode guess what your ECU will put you into LIMP mode. Hey! To fix this take off your MBC for now, put the N75 back on, disconnect your battery for 15min, (remember your radio code) then hook your battery back up start your car and just drive it normaly around for about 30min, then stop F***ing with it! Use the SEARCH to find out what work and what dosent before you end up wastingOUR time andYOUR money. Seriously dude this is for you, I am getting nothing out of helping you except that I dont have to pull over on the road somewhere and help you fix your car. (I would for any VAG owner) let me know if you messed with anything else. Good Luck.

FAQ had all your answers the whole time. And I quote from oh hey MYSELF:
Q. How much boost can I run in my TT?
A. Here is a rule of thumb:
Stock 225: 17-18psi
Chipped 225: 22-23 psi
Stock 180: 14 psi
Chipped 180: 18 psi
That is the max that you can run, remember that if you want to run higher boost without a chip then you will need to run a diode, Where the hell is CINCY??
Just as a side not, and I am not telling you what to do by any means but you really should think about investingin a Boost Gauge, you have a 225 and its chipped, a boost gauge is a must. When problems happen and trust me they will, you will need the info that it gives you to help you figure out what is going on with ur engine and turbo.PMme if you have any questions, its notall that expensive.
