Ive been trying to match my fog lights to my headlights and I can't seem to get them to match. I bought a set of 6000k HID bulbs and love them, so i went out and bought a pair of Xenon Ultra White bulbs.. said they would be to approx. 6000k. They were exactly the same as stock. I took them back and asked for another set and they are again, the same as stock. Both of the sets said 55watts on them also, im thinking this is the problem.
Has anyone here matched up their fog lights to anything like 6000k? If so what did you get ?
I am about to just take out my fog lights and forget about buying new ones. (any harm in that?)

My stock foglights are turn signals.

 

its gonna be hard to match them if you cant get the same brand light !!!

is that ok.. just to take them out? no electrical problems, wont through a CEL.. nothing bad ?

 

i have yellow fog lights!! i like it. i also disconnected my parking lights. i still have to take apart my headlight to clear the corners but i do love how it looks with just the headlight and the yellow fogs on. no orange parking lite. my buddies are like when ur coming up behind us we can't tell what type of car it is. just four lights comin up behind lol

 

no parking lots. no fogs.

just 2 HID bulbs.
