Default will it fit?

I'M TRYING TO FIGURE OUT IF THIS WHEEL SETUP WILL WORK FOR MY TT.

I WANNA BUYA 19", 8.5W, AND 5X112 BOLT PATTERN WHEEL WITH5MM WHEEL SPACER ADAPTER FOR FRONT AND 10MM FOR REAR (SINCE TT'S BOLT PATTERN IS 5X100).

I HAVE NO IDEA IF IT WILL WORK. THANKS FOR ANY INPUT.

Wheel spacers arent the best idea, it might make the car udnersteer alot since your rear track is much wider also if you want thicker in the back.

Get the same size spacers for front and rear, especially if you have FWD,and you will be golden. The only thing you might notice is slightly increased steering effort.

Heres the calculator for the spacer/offset to make sure everything will fit with no interference.

with 8.5" wide wheels you will need to make sure of the wheel offset to ensure proper fitment.

i dont know if you can buy adapters in anything less than 25mm. If you can find the pattern you need there are companies that make special ones of you if you ask.

Thanks DenimTT for the calculator.

I just wonder why the wheel spacers aren't the best idea if anyone can explain. Is it good idea to make the wheels flush with fender?? I have 04' Quattro.

Thanks.

try by doing it with offset first then go with spacers. There isnt a problem with spacers, very many people use them and in differnt sizes front and back without any problem.

You'll be okay with the adapters. They are specially machined to work as intended.

The problem alot of people run into (and I discovered tonight) is they buy cheap spacers, and get what they pay for.

A buddy of mine got wheel shop 8mm spacers for his ITR on all 4 corners. He didnt like how they felt, so I decided to give them a go on the TT and see if they felt any better on an AWD chassis (without a full race suspension and crazy negative camber). Basically he got $10 spacers that arent hubcentric work with wheels from 5x100-5x115 so they are impossible to align on a bolt style hub (and rather tough with studs). They look good, feel great around corners, the car is nice and snappy. But at 70 the wheel vibrations set in. So they will be coming back off tommorrow. I'll have to get some good hubcentric 10-12mm spacers to get the OEM wheels to just the right point and stay balanced.

Dont skimp. The ECS 5x112 adapters are $300 a set for a reason. Just make sure the offset of the wheels is sufficient to compensate for the spacer if necessary.
