i was doing a little searching.. and i think they have an offset around 50 which keeps it pretty close to even with fender...

for instance the rears at 10.5 w/ 55 offset and 20mm spacer puts the wheels 6.4mm outside fender which isn't a ton.

dont know if they would fit even if the bolt pattern was right.

Well if the bolt pattern is not the same, i'm not gonna put them on cause I dont wanna buy adapters. I was just gonna use them till he sells them cause they're just chillin in his basement.

Yeah those look like the rims he upgraded to. I think they're called "twist 2" or something of that nature.

um.. here is what i was told by audi dealer and VW audi mechs.

i wanted to get wider tires at the back than the front... and i had a very long lecture by more than one person and also a very loud SCREAM saying DONT!

the reason was not fitting, the reason was that due to our quattro system (all audi) the width of both front and back tires have to remain the same, otherwise you are putting excessive strain on teh drivetrain and are asking for trouble. thats not to say it will blow up the minute you turn out onto the parking lot. but he is saying wear and tear over time is EXTREMELY accelerated. drive shafts, suspension... etc.. he said biggers wheels no problem, just make all 4 wheels the same...

just thought i'd throw that in there.

Yeah I started to think about that as well. Maybe this is all just a bad idea. I dont think i'm gonna do it anymore. But it woulda been cool if it worked eh

you need to make the tire heights the same (withen a certain %) People have run staggard wheels plenty of times and with no problems I think the people you talked to failed to mention that. I know 1" is safe, but at 2" and the extra weight might be pushing it.

if you want some porsche wheels, just get some replicas in a smaller width. You can find plenty good quality ones here

Yeah I would if I was in the market to "buy" new wheels. I was just gonna use his for free. I still need a new clutch! I hate not being able to use my power. I cant even boost of 5psi without slippage!
