I have an 02 audi tt convertible.. My sliding back wind deflector seems to only go up about two inches then stops. the motor seems to be working and the belt is fine… Any clues guys??

 

I have the same problem with mine. Drivers side comes up 2-3 inches but passenger side only 1/4". Help would be appreciated!!

Your belt has fallen apart and you will need to get it replaced. The link above should tell you where you can get an affordable belt as my local audi dealer wanted $120+ for it.

@ nat2036535 You could be in the exact same boat and the belt is just getting caught/stuck. I am unsure if there could be a sensor that could cause this however. The above link should provide you with some information on the rear wind deflector however and may be some help.
