Window Motor ?
D/S window motor took a dump. I have a puchased a used window regulator setup with motor attached. Is there any trick in removing the motor with out letting the gear come out with the wires for the regulator? I have heard this could be a problem.
Any help would be great. I dont want to screw this one up.
Thanks
Jeff

Hey all!
I put the window motor in. It was the easiest fix I have done on any car. very straight forward.
Very easy to not screw up the regulator if you go slow and take your time and know not to just pull the window motor off. ( what a run on sentence) LOL
If anyone needs the bentley print out let me know.

Yes it is a very easy DIY job. You can do it without any directions at all basically. There is a small hole in the bottom of the circular aluminum cover of the hand grip on the door. Put a small pin into the hole until you hear a click, then turn it counter-clockwise and remove it. unscrew the bolt in there, and remove the rubber parts on the corners of the door. Then lift up on the door and remove it. Keep ahold of it, because you have to unhook 3 wire harnesses and the door pully. Then unscrew the 3 screws on the motor, and replace. Goood luck!
