I have done it twice. Removed door panel. Remove 4 torx screws holding window motor on. Snap on new motor and secure...replace door panel. The most difficult part is getting the door panel back on...

Click here for door panel removal. http://130.74.178.22/aw/body/door-trim.pdf

You can see the motor in the picture.

I believe the bolts are T27 or T25. After you remove them from the window motor, getting the motor off is hard because it is on very tight (the gear teeth are very fine and plastic). Just yank really hard or use a wide blade pry device (do not use a flat head screwdriver, you'll damage the motor).

I tested it before I put the door panel back on. Just put your ignition to the on position and use the window controls while it is still detached from the door.

P.S. - make sure you buy the right part beforehand. The driver side and passenger side have different part numbers and are not interchangeable.

I bought mine on ebay from a guy in the UK. Paid $65...works great. Good luck, it's not a hard job at all.
