Default Yet another opinion on rims

So I have a couple buyers interested in my fat fives (they have seen better days, and now that I am dropped I want to step up to 18"s). I am not going to get much for them maybe mid 5's shipped, but in any event....

What do you guys think of these wheels? I know of a few good brands, but havent heard anything one way or the other on ADR. I have a lake silver roadster, I think these would look pretty nice, they have some dish too.

If someone wants to getp-chopy thatd be cool too :-)

those kinda look like TSW Estorils, so you could use the tool at discounttiredirect.com to see what they'd look like on your car

I almost bought those myself in the gunmetal finish, but i saw them on other vw's and decided against them. They look very ricerish on vw's and audi's.

Hmm. thankss for feedback thus far. How about just the brand in general of ADR, they seem low budget but I havent heard anything about their quality or reputation.
As far as the look, its hard telling not seeing it for myself, but I know I dont want mesh, it looks fine, just alot of people have done it, and unless its ultra or super leggears , I dont think typically a thin spoke design lokes good on something as curvacious as the tt. The search continues...

I think ADR seems kinda cheap, and I've seen other wide spoked dished wheels that looked better. What about TSW Sakata 5's?

not sure if you're interested in weight, but I can't seem to find the weight online. the closest weight i found was on the 17 x 7...

ADR Revolution Cast 17x7 20.5 lbs

go here for wheel weight if interested--http://www.avenger-valkyrie.org/techinfo/wheeldata.htm

as far as looks--i think you can do better.

good luck

btw, how do you like the koni fsd kit? i'm thinking about fsd or coilovers.

I just got it pseudo aligned yesterday so I havent had much time to play. My rear springs were broken and my rear shocks were leaking so it doesnt take much to be an improvement. I did notice the fsd feature when i was driving down some washboard type road, and it got progressively softer until the terrain smoothed. Once I get some cornering time with it Ill let ya know. I have to get used to the new sways too, though i can feel the *** end of the car alot better now, and the car seems more sensitive to steering input. I am unsure if it is the new suspension, but it seems like it has a tendency to pull towards the road imperfections, ie if i go over a larger deprression/pothole with the right wheels, the car seems to want to steer into it?
