Default Are you able to rev w/ your break pedal pressed?

This poll stems from the Pedal Placement thread.

I am trying to get more information in regards to the theory of your gas being disabled while your foot is on the break.
Currently I have a 2003 225 which I bought used. Since it had a previous owner, I'm trying to get a straight answer so I know whether or not the previous owner made any mods... with out getting a VAGCOM.

Please use the poll.

Thanks.

I'm just trippen because I have driven about 10 TT's and mine feels a lot different (in a good way) then the other ones I've driven... that's why I bought it.

Since then, I've been wondering. *shrugs* I'll just go get VAG.

Okay, so after extensive testing (and wear on my poor brake pads) I've come to a conclusion!!
IF trying to step on the gas and brake at the same time you will slow down! Also left foot braking is a lot harder then it looks!
I could however step on the brake (with my left foot) and then step on the gas. At which point my RPM's would increase.
I attempted this in first - third gear.... Left foot braking for the win!!

Leave your heel on the ground, just like you'd do with you right foot.
