I tore down my extra instrument cluster and took pics. Now you know whats in there, and maybe, if you're brave, you can do some different back lighting or something.

 

Did it actually work once you got it back together?

 

Thats a junk cluster. Didn't work right to start with. I just documented the procedure so that if someone else was thinking they MIGHT want to try something, they'll know what they're getting into before they get any grand ideas.
