A stock dual mass flywheel is about $300. Clutch is about $250 with the presure plate. $950 for labor/supplies seems a little steep. Did you go to the dealer?

Maybe a used stock dual mass flywheel will cost $300. Brand new they go for about $700-$800. One of the reasons people go with a LWFW because they are actualy cheaper then a OEM dual mass.

Southbend sells the 1.8t OE Dual Mass Flywheel for $722.00 You are more then welcome to look it up on their site. I am sure the dealer is going to be even higher then that.

ECS sells a OEM dual mass flywheel for $509. But I don't know about changing the clutch really... Do you need to replace a flywheel when you do the clutch?

When ever you change the clutch the flywheel either needs to be resurfaced or replaced. Really need to start with a smooth surface. It is like throwing on brand new pads on a set of really old rotors without having them turned.

Yeah for OEM flywheels. Good LWFW's are around $400-$500, well thats what I sell them for with free ground shipping.
