Default [Urgent] Cannot Start engin after trigured Anti-theft alarm system

Hi all,

I do not have the manual of my 1998 A4. I accidently trigured the anti-thet system in my car. (I push the lock button on the remot control when I am in the car and open the dore manually. The system turned on and kept shouting for 30 seconds).

After that, I can open the door, However, I cannot start the engine. Could you please give me some suggestion? Thank you so much.

Thank you for your reply. I've tried that. It doesn't work. Will disconnecting the battery to reset the computer work? I do not have manual I just wonder if there's some instructions on the manual

Can't hurt to try that. Just make sure it's un-hooked for at least 10 min.

Default Dr.

I would appreciate an urgent help to assist me stop the irritating continuous alarm coming from my 2004 Audi A4 since I parked it about 7hours ago. I got back from work, parked my car and locked with the remote. Immediately the alarm started beeping continuously and has refused to stop. I don't know what must have gone wrong but I think it's abnormal for the alarm to continuously disturb the entire neighborhood. I need urgent help pls people. Thanks so much.

Can you at least pop the hood and unplug the battery?
