Default '01 1.8T check engine w/ sputtering

I have a 2001 A4 1.8t and the check engine lightcame onon the way to work today...It immediately became sluggish and started sputtering. It still runs but it's nutless and icant really feel the turbo any more. I bought this car a 2 weeks ago and it's the firstvehicle i've owned that wasn't a chevy pick up so i'm clueless about them. Anyone familiar with the problem?? I'll have it plugged in and checked on monday but am wondering what i might be lookin at.

Take it to an AutoZone. They'll read the codes for free.

I dealt with my misfire two days ago on my '01. Bought a code reader from my work and it was reading misfire on cylinder 3 and 4 with a random misfire. Cleared the codes, drove 100 feet. Just cylinders 3 and 4. Drove 100 feet, just 3. 100 more, 3 and 4. Drove 5 miles home, just 3. Changed my coilpack on 3, and everything's now good.
Could be dirty fuel injectors, fuel filter, bad coil pack, misgapped plugs. What RPMS?

Check out all your hoses. Works best with the engine running, so you can hear any hissing or sucking noises. If it's not a busted hose get the code read at autozone. If it's a misfire swap coilpack positions to see if it follows a paticular coilpack. If it's system running to lean could be o2 sensors ($100 x 2) for the solder youself ones.
