Hello All:

My climate control worked fine this morning, then I decided to install two new tag lights since one of the originals was broken so that the lens screw had nothing to go in. Unfortunately, one of the new craptastic lights was already broken in the exact same place as the old one! So I put everything back together using the old broken one until the dealer can get another. Now my climate control has freaked out and is blowing cold air on full blast and Fall has arrived! Coincidence??? The climate control won't do anything but blow cold on full blast. It won't even shut off! I took the tag light holder out again to see if maybe a ground wire had been left off - no sign of anything. There really has been nothing altered. I checked the related fuses in the fuse box at the end of the dash and all was well. Any ideas????

Strange and unlikely to be related. Check to see if any of the switches on the HVAC are stuck. Then find someone with a real vagcom to check for codes/problems in the HVAC system.
