Hey guys,

So I want to do my oil change today and I was just wondering which oil i should get? I think 10w40 is what is recommended but where I live it is hot (80-90f) half the year and cold (below 0) half the year... Should I use 5w40 since it is good in hot and cold? Fully synthetic obviously!

Thanks

I use castrol syntec 5w40 year long but that's cuz I live in so-cal..

But I would use 0w40 in winter nd 5w40 in summer....
Nvm it only gets 90...then 5w40 yearlong should be fine?

Yeah I would say year long we see -22F to 86F approx. (-30C to 30C)

I think I will use 5w40.

0w40... The Mobile 1 0w40 is better than most of the other M1 stuff, by the way.

I like Castrol, too, and the only M1 I like is the 0w40. I also like Pennzoil Platinum (10w30) and I like Amsoil as well.

For Castrol, you should go 0w30 European Formula.
