so i cut the waste gate line on my 2000 Audi A4 and put a T in it and put my boost line there(terrible place to put it). when drivng id have a stead 2.5-4 ounds of boost but when itd waste gate the gauge would boost 7.5 pounds. im lost on where to put it tho because i have rubber intercooler lines and dont want to tap into one, i thought about putting on this line that is on the back top of my motor that my dad poited out. he wont help me he will tell me where to look but wont tell me what im looking for. i know a lot about it but iv never really messed with boost lines and stuff just repairs. any suggestions where?

 

Yes, putting it in the wastegate line is a terrible idea.

If you want to put it in one of the rubber intercoller hoses, ATP has something called a boost tap which goes in there. Otherwise a popular spot is in the fuel pressure regulator vacuum line. Some people will say this is not that best spot, but it is popular nonetheless
