Hey i just dowloaded a p0411 fault code from my 00 1.8t. i had a friend start the car while cold when i was under the car near watching the secondary air pump. if i am correct, it is an electric motor that drives the pump, right? it didnt seem like it turned on but before i go and drop $200 on a new pump i wanted to see if anyone had any input. the pump should obviously be making a bit of noise, correct? i checked all the hosed to/from the pump and they didnt have any cracks. thanks for your time.
