Hey, Was gonna change sparks this weekend... what you recommend? I'm in a 1.8t

Was looking for most bang for my buck hopefully.. dont know a WHOLE lot about spark plugs but i hear you can get a little performance pickup if you get some good ones.

I bought Denso Iridium Power with the .4 mm electrode about 5 months ago without any issues, except that they say gap them to .044. Trust me, stick with .032. They're not very cheap, and I did not notice any significant difference, but I only had the car a couple weeks when I changed them out...

You wasted your money.

Best plugs are still NGK BKR6E gapped at .032 for stock software. They are about $2.00 each; check them every 10K miles, but most should get 40K miles out of them. If you are running a K03 (stock turbo) with basic software, use the BKR6E's gapped at .028. If you are running an aggressive K03, K04, or GTRS, BKR7E's should be fine gapped at .028. And they are still about $2.00 each.

Read the above post.

BKR6E gapped to .032 with stock turbo and stock software. .028 if chipped with stock turbo.

Wrong. With our cars, NGKs work the best for the money. And they are cheap. Turbo cars eat spark plugs for breakfast. Who wants to shell out $15 a plug when they burn out?
