More like being rich and trolling forums has not affect on your intelligence.
I don't get it. NGK BKR6E and BKR7E work great in these cars. They are cheap. It has nothing to do with where they are made. Period. End of discussion. These cars have been around since 1996 in the States and the engine has been used in pant loads of VAG cars around the world. NGKs work and work well, better than the stock plugs for some applications. Stock guys, BT guys; we all use them because they work and they work well. NGK is a well-known, reputable spark plug company and are often used at dealers as alternative replacements and in many race cars and street cars world-wide.
This is not a statement of opinion. This is fact. Cold, hard, proven fact.
End of thread before someone says something stupid. (though it's probably too late).

Well, I'm going to break my own stop to this thread. Some interesting evidence has searched that we, in fact, are OK using NGK plugs. It's been a while since I've removed stock plugs from an Audi and actually inspected the plugs. These were pulled from my brother's 01 1.8T AWM code A4TQM. I'll let the pictures speak.

Interesting. Stock VAG NGK plugs.
