Since the while now, the oil warning light comes on, goes off. Comes back. Stays on for a while.

Oil level checked and is good.

What sensors trigger the oil warning light?
Pressure?
A level sensor?
Both?

Where are those located?

 

Did that on my 96. There is a sender unit. It's cheap. But swapping it is a pain. Its on top of the oil pan, right behind the oil cooler.
