I have a 1996 Audi A4 quattro Automatic 2.8l and i went to pick someone up which took one hour to drive there.It was about -12 c that day ..so when i stop the car turn off the motor and then after he got in ( took about 1 or 2 minutes) I tried to start my car and just the motor turns but no fire
so i got a code P1504
tested
the fuel pump works
the idle control valve voltage good

what is causing this?
please reply because its been 10 days without a car and I have no money
so i need to fix it myself

P1504 is a leak in the intake air. Usually that's something like a bad gasket on the intake mani or a leak in one of the hoses around there. But that won't usually prevent a car from starting. Whatever you got going on, I'm not sure it's about that P1504, but just for the heck of it look for a massive leak somewhere in the intake air system.
