Try getting a new heater core.

i would figure out what is broken before arbitrairily replacing parts. the heater core is no fun to replace. other then that piece of advice, i dont know really. i would try a coolant flush before ripping into the car. drain the old and fill it with regular water first, get it up to temp and see if you have heat. if its not a bubble in the system or a clogged heater, it could be electrical.
