Default 2.8 12v Supercharger? Where can I find these parts?

I've been thinking about a Supercharger to make my 12v....errrr..... Slightly less boring (Which I could also achieve by selling the car.) While poking about, I was directed to a thread on ScAudi about some guy who created a pretty unique supercharger setup that apparently has the correct specs for the engine.

Even if I don't commit, I'd like to hear where I can find some of the parts listed and about how much they cost. (I'd ask on ScAudi, but nobody bothered to approve my account for some reason.)

From this thread, I've found that the supercharger itself will cost just around $8-900, but haven't had much luck factoring other things in. But I'm guessing around $1,500-$2,000 for the entire thing.

Anybody got any input on where I can find the parts that are in that thread?

The thread where I found this information is listed below.

You're talking about the PES G1 supercharger. It's no longer produced by PES, so if you could find one at all it would be used. I haven't seen one for sale in years. Check out this page for more info.

If you can find one at all, you're going to pay about triple what you guessed in your original post to get the car running. Everything you do is going to have to be custom including the exhaust, intercooler, intake, and most importantly the tune.

Not a G1 that I was thinking of, I was thinking of a Eaton M62 out of a Benz.

Thanks for the heads up, I found it. No pic though, and it's for the 30v.

Regardless of the blower, you're going to have to build everything custom. I'm sure you could find that particular supercharger at a junk yard if you checked enough junk yards.

I already know where I can get a free one, so I'm set on that.

Ported heads, is a probably. I don't necessarily need an intercooler from what I've heard. But if I want to keep the car along the line, I might plan that out for later.

All the other stuff is probably doable since I've got access to a shop.
