I am involved in some restoration on my Avant and I have to tell you this, The Audi Engineers atleast Designed the Car so it can be worked on. The Whole Idea of the Front Grill coming out and so on. Some things I whished they did other Ways but My Camaro, Explorer, Escape all were pain in the Rear to work on and will never buy another one. Not to mention the Rust.

I also Own a 944 1985.5 that I have been trying to restore and come to find out, it too has an Audi Engine. I suppose, it is one of those things that Now that I own 2,,, Get used to fixing them and becoming and Expert at it.

 

lol I am not surprised. Vw, its the Toyota of Germany. Audi, its the Lexus of Germany. Porsche, well hell its a Porsche. All use similar parts thank god, its why we can get away with using passat (and ect.) parts.
