I've got one lowbeam out on my pass side 1-piece stock headlight units. I'm confused about whether I need an H7 or a D2S type bulb. The lowbeam that's out is the small circular light in the attached pic. I thought those were Xenon because it looks like what seems to be a ballast on the underside of the headlight unit.

I plugged in the pass side unit to the driver side plugs and the lowbeam still doesn't light up, so it's seems to be just the bulb.

Please set me straight on the whole light configuration in this kind of unit and what kind of bulb I need.

I have h7 in my car. You can go to an autoparts store and they can look it up and tell you exactly which type of bulb you need. But h7 is my best bet.
