Default 2001 Avant Exhaust problem. Please HELP!

I went and got my oil changed yesterday, and when they were putting my car onto the lift the messed up my exhaust. I have no clue what part this is and plan on bringing it into a shop for an estimate. Any help and information on the part thats broken or how to replace the part and where to get it would be awesome. Its a 2001 a4 2.8 avant Quattro.

Sorry for the giant images I will work on resizing right now, just want to get them up to see if anyone has any insight for me. This is right behind the engine block towards the front of the car.

Any insight or info would be greatly appreciated, help a broke college student out!
Thanks Guys

That's the flex. I just had a new one welded in by an independent muffler shop...I think it was about $330.
