Default 205/60r15 or 195/65r15? (Winter tires)

I'm a little confused which tires actually go on my car because my old winter tires are 195/65r15 but my spare tire is a 205/60r15. I checked on tire rack and it says the 205s are recommended but 195s are the alternate, on another site 1010tires it says just the 205s...

Which one should I choose for my winter tire? In general I would think the more surface area contact (205) the better the grip but in the case of winter I am leaning towards a 195 which would have smaller contact area but more weight/area to get better grip on snow/ice?

What do you guys think?

Thanks
