Question 255/35/18 on a A4 qttr ???

whats up guys and gals

i was wonder is any 1 out thr rolling on 255/35/18 on all 4's?
i went to the grand prix at long beach and saw 034 motorsports a4 on 255/35/18 all around but the rims had no lip (that sucks!) but i couldnt find the driver nor the pit crew to ask (mods, offset, etc).

i would like to have the same lip as my 255's on my rear. and i hope thr isnt too much fender/suspn mod.

i currently have a 98 A4 qttr 5spd on HR race springs F:225/18 with 2-2.5 lip and 255/18 with 4 inch lip

your probably going to need some spacers or something, i had 235 35 18s on my 1997 2.8 and it would rub pretty good around sharp corners. it would be even worse with thicker tires.

I wouldn't run 35's. That's too thin and takes away too much riding confort. I run 245's with spacers and I've never rubbed. I'd go 255's if I had the chance and run 235's in the front.

thnx guys!

i know 255/17's will fit, but what offset should i have on the 18's or what size the spacer should be. i know that width of the rim matters. i've seen widths from 7.5 to 8.5 inch's on 18' rims. i just dont have the time nor the money for trial 'n' error tuning.

once again thnx for the insight
