I'd agree. That tranny could not hook up so quick. Also, did anyone see fuel lines being unhooked? Coolant? Air? I saw none of these things unhooked or reinstalled.

I didnt see ANY electrical connections, fuel hookups, coolant drained or axles pulled. That engine bay was completely stripped... I think if you set a car up a certain way, it might work, but not, for an average team.

Stop it at 1:21 and take a good look at the bay

I think you're right, if they aren't cheating, then they've set the car up to do that. They probably aren't even using a rad, removed all accessories, etc. They may even be using fuel already in the system, thus the very short distance.

This would be a great one for Myth Busters

I agree. There didn't appear to be a radiator, and the car was obviously set up to facilitate such a quick change. If i had to guess, i'd say there was no coolant, fuel, no accessories, belts, etc. You can run a motor that small for 30 seconds on like a teaspoon of gasoline, they prolly just primed both motors. as for the tranny, goin that slow you could probably make the hook up with thumbscrews or somethin lol
