im having issues getting the correct part for my audi and im trying to find the difference between the 99 and 99.5

someone know where i might find the engine code for the car

 

The engine is an AEB in both. The only differences between the 99 and the 99.5 are body trim stuff like the door handles.

 

hmmm ok then bci was getting 2 completly different parts off of a4's

im trying to swap the clockspring on it but no parts match

mine is the one on the left

 

The left is the same as mine and I have a 99. 99.5's have 1-piece headlights, updated door handles. Im not sure but updated center console i believe.

 

Not going to be a year difference problem rather looks like you probably have a non sport vs sport steering wheel or the other way.

 

Yeah i didnt think about that, mine is a 99 sport steering wheel. They could be different for a non-sport too or something.

 

mines none sport steering wheel so that cant be the issue lol


maybe the guy shipped me the wronge part but i can see how the one he shipped might be right but not for my car

gonna mail him the parts back and dispute the money in paypal if i have to
