I like it how it is because it looks stock-ish. If you go painting the e brake/shift ****/anything elseitll look like riceroni imo.

LOL no I wouldn't paint those at all - if anything I'd replace them. There are some really nice, non-ricey shifters and e-brake sleeves out there (the e-brake sleeves are affordable, but the shifters unfortunately have prison-shower-rape pricetags, and ditto the pedals). We'll see what happens with that stuff. I am definitely NOT going to paint them though

I haven't seen the matte trim in an Audi before...did it look like this?

If so, ew. But it looks great now. Well done.

Thanks, and yes, that's pretty much what it was. Here's a pic of my interior that I took awhile ago, and it was this way until this morning. It's just really bland and fake-looking, very plasticky. The paint is a huge improvement. I wish I'd done it sooner, now that I've seen how it turned out.

Just for kicks, here's a (bad) picture of the mess you have to make to access all the clips that hold the trim on the dash. It's a lot of disassembly, but it comes apart pretty easily, and only took a half hour or so to take apart.

YES.. this was a project that I was just starting on my car right before I wrecked. After seeing this, there is no doubt I will do it on my next audi. Great work man.
