Does anyone know where i can download either the bentley manual for the b5, or the haynes manual for free, i've been looking for awhile and no local stores have it... any help???

dont know of anywhere to download them
one thing you might need to keep an eye out at auto stores that i hadnt realized, is that it is (at least the haynes one i have) primarly listed as a VW Passat manual, with the A4 thrown in as well

Yup, I actually haveone right in front of me - "VW Passat & Audi A4 - Passat (1998 thru 2001), Audi A4 (1996 thru 2001)" and it's got a picture of a white B5 Passat on the cover.

i have a digital semi complete copy of the haynes manual for the 2.8 30v engine. i can send it via AIM if you got that. it's a pretty big file so i don't really want to do it via email.

it won't let me upload the file lol. i've tried yahoo and hotmail. everytime i try to attach the file it goes to an error screen lol. the file's too good for the emails. do you have AIM?
