Hey guys, I bought a 1998 Audi A4 1.8T and I am having some issues. Sometimes the car struggles to start, and when it does start - it misfires. After a few seconds it comes right. I have changed the fuel filter, plugs and oil filter but after I had started it this morning, after 1500rpms it completely cut off.
I am new to Audi so I do not know where else to look. Please help me in this regard

 

I recently had the same issue on my car. My issue was it had a boost leak. Hard to believe that a boost leak would cause start up problems. My car would fire up perfectly but then turn of shortly after unless I revved it. Boost leak fixed and has started up perfectly.
