no i had to have my wife paint two coats on those things to get them that shiny

 

I had this set-up with the ECS kit with the floating bells and Hawk pads on my old 2.8 quattro with a supercharger and it worked great on the track with no brake fade at all doing about 6 laps of hard driving and breaking.

 

Thats what a 2 peice rotor does for you

so when doing this conversion do you need to remove the sheilds that are behind the rotors for the a8 rotors to fit???

 

no..... i bent mine out just a smidge to make sute they didn't rub at all
