Whats the price range I'm looking at? Not looking to spend more then,6000 is this a realistic price or? Also want to do it properly so I'm thinking

Rods
Rod bearings
Crank bearings
Piston rings (good idea)?
Fmic
2.5" custom exhaust
Cast iron header
Injectors
4.2l s4 MAF
Gt28 turbo
Motor mounts
Tranny mounts
Upgrading my unitronic software

think I had around $5000 grand into mine, but that included spending $2500 on rebuilding a junkyard motor. if you wait for a good deal on some used parts, you can keep it under 3000 grand.

you'll want to replace piston rings and rehone the cylinders. new bearings all around (don't forget to buy thrust washers). you'll want 3inch downpipe and exhaust. buy the treadstone intercooler made for our cars. TR18T Intercooler 480HP- TREADSTONE PERFORMANCE

just start watching vwvortes and audizine classified sections to get some used parts. buy everything over the winter and install in summer. also what year car do you have?

$5,000 grand?! Holy moly. And I thought a Bugatti Veyron was expensive!

do what i did and buy a junkyard motor to rebuild. saves a ton of time and you can get it up and running in less than a week
