Default Abs

Sooo, my abs light came on about a week ago. I didnt pay too much mind cause when i had my acura integra i had no abs. That was then and this is now. So the light comes on and than tends to disappear when ever it likes. Some days its there and some days its not. Can that be just the sensor? or is there a possibility that its not? Now my question is... How difficult can it be to address the problem and fix it?

There is one at each wheel. You might try tapping each
caliper , near the sensor, with a hammer. This might free
up dirt.

Does your brake light come on too? Do you hear 3 beeps when this happens? If so, your ABS electronic module needs to be replaced. Verify by trying to communicate with the module via VAG-COM. If you can't talk to it, then it's busted. I repair these modules relatively cheaply (compared to other rebuilders). Send me an email if this turns out to be your problem: sidespar at yahoo dot com
