Fellows, a While back I had to replace 90% of the AC Components in my Car. Including the Evaporator. I figured I save some money and I bought a Rebuilt Compressor from Ebay. I vacumed the lines, put the right PAG oil and turned it on. I was not impressed by the Cooling and I was not getting the normal pressure levels. So I figured, it is an AUDI. Then in the middle of the winter, I kept blowing a Heater fuse. I troubleshot it to the Clutch on my new Compressor. I could not figure it whyyyyy the Clutch was doing what it did. I was more interested in getting my heat back.

The only thing I did not replace was the Restrictor. Because I remember, when I took out the Compressor, the Evaporator, acumulator out, I was trying to blow some air thrhough the lines and one of the lines I could not blow through. So, i am suspecting a blocked line. I also was not sure how the restrictor would behave.


Does anyone know the exact location of the Resistrictor on the Audi A4 1.8T Avant Quatro? Thanks/
