how much is needed of the oil in a 2000 audi a4 2.8L
and does it matter what kind of oil?

 

All modern cars run 134a refrigerant. A large refill should be enough. Be warned it will work, just not as well as a shop that can remove all the air from the lines.

Are you talking about refrigerant or oil? R-134a refers to the refrigerant. There is also a lubricating OIL, PAG oil, the type of oil can vary while the refrigerant does not.. I do believe you can buy universal PAG oil however.. but dont quote me on that.
