Default Acceleration Problem and Suspension Help

I have two things that are bothering me and i'm hoping you guys can help me out.
1. When i'm accelerating at a normal pace i feel i slight stutter at about 3k rpm and then it goes back to normal. This only happens in 2nd and a little in third. Any ideas? BTW i just changed my plugs, fuel injector o-rings, and one coil pack.

2. I have a thump. Whenever I am turning the wheel to the right i hear a pretty loud thump thump thump until i straighten up or turn right. Another aside i have a bad power steering pump but the noise seems to be coming from my front right tire. I can also feel it through the gas pedal everytime it thumps. Again, any ideas?

The thump is probably a bad CV joint.

Did you have the stutter before replacing the plugs? Have you vag'ed the car? Did you have any misfire codes?

i had a misfire code bc i'm a retard and didnt plug the fuel injector harnesses in all the way so i thought it was the coil pack and replaced it and the plugs and then i noticed the wireharness after the misfire didn't go away. i have no CEL but last time i checked the codes i got a code saying a have a bad knock sensor.

and no there was no stutter before

If there was no stutter before, recheck all of the electrical connections that you touched. Also, make sure that all the fuel injectors are seated properly.

If the knock sensor code didn't come back I wouldn't worry about it. I'm guessing that you have a fuel injector that isn't seated quite right.

Will do. So no other ideas on the thumping. How much is a cv joint?

No one replaces cv joints anymore. So you'll need to buy a whole new half shaft. They run around $100-$150.

You can do it yourself but it's really f'in messy and you have to remove the pinch bolt. I think there's a right up on Audiworld but I didn't use it.

If you have the money and don't have much experience working on cars I would recommend that you pay someone to do it.
