Adriana
So after owning her for 3 years, 2 of which sat in my driveway, Adriana is finally receiving her makeover! This is the only picture I could find
1999 A4 1.8tqm AEB with 110,000 miles currently. Jaspis Green (YUCK) with black interior and silver trim.
Over the past few years I've been so focused on fixing her that I haven't been able to do any mods. That list goes as follows (chronologically except the light switch)
Light Switch (x4) + relay mod for fog lights to prevent it from ever burning out again
New Catalytic Converter + Gaskets @ 92,000 miles
New Hankook K106 tires (good all seasons to fit crappy rims) @ 92,000 miles
Timing Belt, Thermostat, Waterpump @ 93,000 miles
Removed engine tick (thought it was a collapsed valve but turned out to be a stick in the radiator fan haha
Replaced front end suspension (tre/ca's) @ 103000 miles
Replaced wheel bearings, all 4 wheels @ 103000 miles
New Valve Cover Gasket @ 105,000 miles
New Coolant Temp Sensor @ 105,000 miles
Bosch Sparks @ 112,500 miles
Vog Springs and Bilstein Shocks (lowered 1.6 in front and 1.8 in rear) @ 113,000 miles
Oil change every 4k miles with Royal Purple 15w 30
Seafoamed every 10,000 miles
I currently have a CEL due to an exhaust leak at the downpipe/cat, slight coolant leak (possibly from coolant flange, still searching) low tone horn is not working. My ABS module is acting up ambient temp sensor has recently started to act up
Now the fun part - I either just received or am waiting for the shipping of the following parts and will install soon.
New G12 (will flush when i find the leak)
Bosch 710N DV
ABS control Module
i'm looking to replace the vacuum lines as well but can't seem to find them or any information on how to make my own anywhere. After these mods are done next will be an APR chip (possibly GIAC Tip Chip but i'm not sure if its worth it) 1 piece headlights (new style with LEDs) and over the winter she will be getting painted black. I'll keep this thread as a place to keep updating her.

nice !
you will be so happy after the suspension upgrade... and chip! ha.
but just go to autozone or something and buy 20 feet of vac line that is the same diameter (cut like 1cm off the end of one of the hoses to bring in the store to find the right diameter - i believe its 7mm or something (probably way off) but that way you can know before you buy it... it is very easy to do... just do ONE AT A TIME so you dont take them all off and eitehr forget about one or forget where it went to...
good luck with the car i actually like that color

yea i realized after i posted that he was just on bags, i looked closely the first time so i saw something real low to the ground and thought he just painted them. I don't like the color because no rims look good on it. Nothing at all. Those white rims look hideous, polished and black all look hideous. Painting it is going to be the last thing to be done though so you can all enjoy the ugly colors for now as you watch her transform
