I have a 97 A4 2.8 SOHC AFC engine. Looking for a replacement flywheel. Anything I find online is for the AHA engine. Anyone have a source for a single mass kit or even a dual mass replacement?

I did check rockauto but it didn’t say if it’s AHA or AFC.

 

If you choose SOHC as your engine then that is the list they supply or am I missing something?

 

Is that the difference between AHA and AFC engine?

AFC - 12v SOHC
AHA - 30v DOHC

If that's the case the Valeo for $270 isn't a bad price. Just wanted to verify.

 

Not too sure on the engine codes but yes they changed engines part way through the generation.

 

I know. That’s what I’m trying to figure out. I have an AFC 2.8 SOHC. Want to make sure I get the right flywheel.

 

You may want to ask on Audiworld. There are a couple guys on that forum with SOHC V6’s.
