Aftermarket Exhaust

Has anyone fitted an aftermarket resonator and muffler for a B5 V6 into a B5 1.8T? I'm just curious if the hangers are the same? I understand the down pipe has to be custom made. Just wondering.

I'm guessing it would be the same as long as the exhaust comes from the same drive train.

Similar bends. Obviously the resonator from the V6 is 2-in-1-out, but apart from that I would think they're pretty close. What makes you want to try this?

If that's the only reason, I would say go custom. Way more options for mufflers and resonators if you go custom and you won't have to worry about dicking around with the hangers.

And just leave it in your trunk.
