When I start my car the airbag light stays on longer then usual. It eventually turns off but after a few minutes. Is this the begining of a issue? How can I fix it?

 

Ive never heard of that issue before, most of the time if it comes on for longer than the couple seconds at the beginning, it stays on. I would use a VAG COM and check for codes under airbags, and then under instrument cluster. My guess is there might be a communication issue between the cluster and the airbag module.

 

That would make sense. I was poking around replacing bulbs in my cluster today. Maybe something came loose. I'll give it a once over tomorrow. Thanks for the reply
