yeah but I don't really know how much that would cost.. I may have to end up doing that since it'll be hard to find my color around. there's a pretty big vw audi junkyard by me so I'll keep looking there. maybe I'll just find some junky hood and rust it not really

thats true, for as much as it would cost to have them spray a different hood you might as well just go CF. Sorry to hear man, always hate to see such a clean car get bruised up. btw, i assume you weren't hurt in the accident?

I don't really like the look of carbon fiber and it would just look awkward on my car. there's two kids in my school with europa a4's and maybe I'll leave them notes or something to see if they're trying to upgrade hoods.... I'll try to get some prices this weekend for spraying a hood with matched paint, maybe respray my bumper too. probably $$$$ though. nobody was hurt at all, I hit at a pretty slow speed, I didn't expect my hood to be that bad at all but I guess it's cause I like went under the car and the hood got crushed..

how much do you haft to give your insurence to fix the car its usualy like $500 to $1000 it might be cheaper for them to fix it, a new grille is like $200 oem and im sure that hood is atlease $800 new not painted

I'm not going through insurance for this. $200 for a grille? that's quite high. I have a few spares though. I'll hopefully be able to find a hood a lot less than that much..

Ive never done HID's before and i'm buying my ballasts and bulbs from DDM and because a4's high and low beams are separate bulbs do I need two ballasts?

you don't need HIDs for your high beams, so just one H7 kit, bulb and ballast, for the low beams. are you getting the depo headlights like I have? you can order them with HIDs pre installed for a good price

I think I am going to buy them but are they worth the 199.99 + shipping (39.99)?
Is there a cheaper better solution?

Also I am going to buy the ballasts and bulbs from DDM for 49.99.

Either way it isn't German or American, so I'll just call it Japanese . My cars hood is great, but I can't trade . Some dumbass kid took a left turn from the right lane and hit me. I made a thread on it, which will be updated soon once everything is fixed. Good luck dude.
