Your car is looking good man!

I'm loving the E-Codes on your car. Definitely made a big impact on how it looks.

Quick question about the LEDs. I know 42DD has some with built in heat sinks and specific voltage and thats what makes them so expensive. I've heard of problems with melting and such. Will the one's you posted be at risk?

I dunno. They're just LEDs so I don't know why they'd melt.. We don't have plate light out indicators so I would guess they should be fine.. I had cheap LEDs on my sedan too with no problems

Yeah the LED bulbs with heat sinks and all that crap are overkill. LED's burn cooler than halogen bulbs, I can only assume the heat sinks were for the resistors they installed to prevent the bulb out warning, which happens due to the smaller voltage draw of the LED's (which as Alex mentioned is useless for license plate bulbs).

Only thing I can see being a problem as far as melting is if the people who made your bulbs did a shitty job and they short/ground out and get hot that way.

So are those real E-Codes? Or are they aftermarket/us-spec w/ cc mod?

I'm wanting to update my lights, but of course, dropping the money on OEM E-codes is kinda crazy
