Exclamation All gear lights on

Hey guys,

I need your opinion. Today I noticed that all the gears are lit on the dash gear indicator. The car drives fine, it only seems a bit rough when going into reverse. I had the codes scanned at autozone but no "new" codes show up.
I did drive through some water the other day. What could be the problem, any opinions?

Your transmission is in limp mode, you need a VAG COM to scan the transmission codes, a generic scanner from autozone cannot access them. The culprit is likely the water you drove through, search around I think there is some kind of connection or switch on the transmission that can cause problems if it gets wet.

Lol. I guess that's another thing other than speed bumps I'm going to have to watch for.

Never going to visit that friend again after a shower of rain. There was standing water at the entrance to his community, about an inch or more and I had reservations about driving through as my car is lowered and have the airbox mod.

On a side note I thought my car was an "Audi". I know which test it's going to fail
