Nice, are you just applying the film on top of the pieces without pulling them off?

ya im just applying it straight onto it. Its easier that way because you can use the crevices to guide your cutting, but make sure you have a sharp blade. Mine was dull as a spoon. You then take a heat gun and just get a creditcard or something thinner to make the folds.

Very nice, its looking good! I'm slowly working on updating my interior. I'd like to eventually get the facelift console/radio surround but who knows when that'll happen.

Talking not 100% done but you get the idea....

first pic is the "impression"

second pic is sanded, than coated 6 times with black lacquer high luster paint

third and fourth pic were wet sanded with 2000 grit sand paper, then appplied multiple coats of clear coat gloss. waiting for it to dry and will buff the **** out.

thanks to eric for finding me a shifter piece, it was the wrong one but it was much easier to cut and work with!

I want to do a double din swap but it intimidates me. Knowing how I work I'd be with music for 3 months.

Looking good though, props to what looks like a job well done!

Sorry about that confusion, I must say your swap came out VERY nice. If mine comes out half as good I'll be happy.
