A great solution to getting the pinch bolt out is to get a tool called a ball joint press. You can loan one from places like Autozone or Advanced Auto, etc. Hook the open end over the hex part of the pinch bolt and keep turning the other side of the tool to push the bolt out. My buddy has an 03 f350 and his steeringbox dowel snapped and we used a ball joint press to push out the rest of the dowel from the pitman arm...it shot like 30 feet across the street lmao.
